human touch is almost taboo these days. If you touch someone at work, you are immediately sent to HR… I mean if you were doing it in a creepy way, that’s probably about right… However, every time I offer adjustments in class to even the most seemingly withdrawn person, they do not refuse. We crave the connection with another human being, it’s part of what makes us who we are.
Think about the last great hug you got. Or a solid high five from a friend. Didn’t it make you feel warm and happy inside? I feel like human touch has been discarded because of the media’s obsession with sex, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
